**UPDATE**  Elmo is currently being fostered in Richboro, PA.  His foster mom is working on housetraining and he is being fostered with 2 other dogs.  He is just so sweet & lovable!!!

Someone apparently thought it would be a good idea to simply leave this young pup to survive on his own and that decision almost cost Elmo his life. When he first came to our rescue, at approximately 2 months of age, he was weak and sickly. It took nearly two weeks of around the clock care to get Elmo back to a healthy status but it was well worth the effort as he is now a very healthy and happy pup.

Elmo is very friendly towards other dogs, in fact he will do very well sharing a home with another dog. He is also very well socialized towards people of all ages and would make a great family pet. Because of his young age, Elmo will still need to be house trained

Elmo will receive his final round of first year vaccinations on March 23 and will be ready to go to a new home by the 27th. He has also been wormed and treated against coccidian and giardia. If adopted prior to 6 months of age, Elmo's new family must agree to have this procedure performed within a specified amount of time and provide proof of such to SoCo Rescue.
