This handsome young fellow is Freddy, a Golden Retriever mix who was once a stray. Freddy was taken in by a very wonderful family and given love and care until he could be accepted into SoCo Rescue.
Prior to coming to our rescue, Freddy was taken to our vet's office for a complete exam and to receive his basic vet care. All of his test results came back clean and he has now been neutered as well as receiving a full set of vaccinations. most impressive to our vet's staff was how quickly Freddy became friends to everyone that he met and would even do a little "dance" for them while enjoying his outside playtime. They even noticed that he seemed to learn new things very quickly, indicating that he will be easy to train.
It didn't take long for Freddy to capture the hearts of the SoCo staff once he arrived. We also noticed rather quickly how friendly and smart he is. Freddy immediately became friends to with a number of our other dogs and seems to enjoy playing with them. While Freddy is typically great with other dogs, he seems to do better with calmer ones that those that are hyper. And he seems to enjoy fe He's adapted rather quickly to his new surroundings and has been very friendly to all of our staff. Freddy has also proven to be kid friendly while at his foster home and SoCo Rescue. He will make a great family pet.
