Kalvin is only available for adoption in the New Jersey and surrounding areas. He can be pre-adopted now but will be released to his new home over the Nov. 21-22 weekend.***

Kalvin and his littermates came to SoCo Rescue as owner surrenders. Their former owner took in a stray dog who ended up getting pregnant. As part of our agreement to take the pups in, the owner has agreed to have his female dog spay. 

Kalvin arrived at our rescue ahead of his siblings. It seems that Kalvin, who has a submissive nature, was constantly being bullied by his siblings so he was removed from the home in an attempt to keep him safe. He's shared a kennel with three other pups since coming to us and has interacted very well with his new-found friends. With his super-sweet personality and playful spirit, it's not hard for him to make new friends.

Kalvin was neutered & has already received 2/3 of his first year puppy vaccines with the final round coming due on Nov. 26. He's also received his rabies and bordetella vaccinations, been de-wormed and treated for parasites. Kalvin will need all of his basic training, which should come easy for this very smart boy
