***Adoption Pending***

While taking her trash to a local dumpster site, a woman noticed a female dog and her four puppies scrounging for food. When she tried to approach the dogs they quickly ran into a drain pipe, which is where this family of dogs were apparently living. The woman could tell that the mom and pups had been there for a while and all seemed very scared of people. After a couple of failed attempts at trying to lure the dogs to her, the woman was able to catch all five dogs with the aid of a couple of dog traps and brought them to our rescue. 

Upon their arrival, Camille and her siblings initially were very of our staff, often retreating to their dog bed when approached. But slowly the pups started becoming very receptive of our friendship. Camille now will give us small kisses and enjoys being petted but is still a little timid. We're positive that with a little patience Camille will fully shed her shyness and become a very well socialized dog. 

Camille's life at the dumpster left her with parasites and worms, both of which she's now been treated for. At the time of this posting she's also received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines with the final round being due on 11/15/20. She's also received her rabies and bordetella vaccines and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Camille spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
