Finn came to SoCo Rescue as an owner surrender. Prior to adopting him as a young puppy, his former owner failed to research his breed to see how big he would get. At only 9 months of age, Finn had already exceeded 80 pounds and was just "too big" for his former owner.

Finn has an extremely friendly personality and playful. Because he is so big and strong, Finn's level of play can be a bit much for some people to handle. He's also a bit mouthy, liking to use teeth to grab a person, but this is something that can be corrected with a little training. Fin  already knows some of his basic commands, has had some house, leash and crate training but may require additional training.

Finn has been fully vetted and recently tested negative for heartworms. He should be kept on a heartworm preventative on a monthly basis and retested every 6 months.
