***Cassius is scheduled to attend our adoption event at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the March 6-8 weekend.***

Cassius came to SoCo Rescue after his former owner had to surrendered a number of her dogs due to her health issues. 

Cassius is Mr. Personality! He loves his time around people and gets along great with other dogs as well. He'll make a great companion for anyone looking for a small, energetic companion. During his brief stay at a foster home, Cassius nipped at his foster mom when she tried to make him go into a crate. Since arriving at SoCo Rescue, he's not shown any such behavior and has allowed us to pick him up and only wants to give us kisses! Still, we will limit his adoption to a home without young children.

While with his former owner, Cassius was diagnoses with an enlarged heart and has to be on medication everyday. We will discuss this with potential adopters. 

Cassius has now been neutered, received an update on all of his vaccines and de-wormed.He also tested negative for heartworms and had a dental cleaning preformed. He may need additional house training as we're unsure of the training he received at his former home
