Foster was found living behind a local business. He would regularly come out of his hiding spot and approach the store’s patrons looking for food and a little love. No one seems to know from where or how this senior fellow came to be homeless but his need for rescue was crucial if he was to survive his ordeal. The authorities in the area granted us permission to get Foster off the streets and one of our great foster homes gladly took Foster in.

Foster has been near-perfect at his foster home, proving to be house trained and very friendly. He is a senior dog and, despite looking larger in his pictures, Foster is only 23 lbs. Foster loves to go on walks, laying around in the sun and going on rides. While he is still very active, his favorite hobby is making sure no one steals the couch! Foster will make a great companion for anyone looking for a small older dog who is sweet, affectionate and still active. 

Foster has now been neutered, has received an update on all of his vaccinations and de-wormings, kept on his monthly preventatives and even tested negative for heartworms.
