Dandy and his six litter mates all came to SoCo Rescue as owner surrenders. It seems that a young man simply left his dog with his elderly grandmother. The young man ignored his grandmother's plea to get and secure the female dog which led to this dog getting pregnant and having her pups underneath their mobile home. To save the pups from possible danger, we had to take them away from their mom at an early age.

Dandy was given his name because he is truly one dandy pup! He's friendly,playful and only wants to please his people. He'll make a great addition into just about any home situation and should grow to be a treasured member of any family.

Dandy has now received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccines, rabies vaccination, been de-wormed and treated for parasites. We've also started him on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered at 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. He will need all of his basic training.
