Daniel and his two siblings, Jonah and Naomi, were all tossed into a proverbial "den of lions" when they were abandoned at a local church. While a neighbor to the church fed and watered them, the fear was once the parishioners  discovered the pups they would want to "get rid of them" in any manner possible. This is not the first time we've had to save dogs from a church that preferred "getting rid" of dogs instead of helping them. We've given these puppies names of Biblical characters, all who faced either death or very difficult times,  to serve as reminder that the Bible instructs us to take care of the animals that God has blessed us with

We were told that Daniel was the shy one of the litter but he's definitely transformed into a very confident and friendly fellow. He still is a little hesitant at first but quickly just wants to give kisses and play! He's not hyper, plays nicely and enjoys the company of other pups. He will grow to be a big fellow and should do very well with his basic training.

Daniel has received an update on his yearly vaccinations, wormings and such as well as being kept on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
