***Carter will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the June 7-9 weekend. At this time we're only accepting applications for his adoption from the northeastern areas.***

While a SoCo Rescue team member was at a local animal control picking up two pups, he was informed of two other puppies who needed rescue as their "time" was running out. Carter and his brother, Cason, had been found as strays, impounded into the animal control and never had anyone claim or show any interest in them. SoCo Rescue gladly took these two brothers into our family as well.

Carter is your typical playful, friendly and well socialized pup. He also loves curling up next to people and seeing just how much love he can get from you! Carter is a little hesitant when first encountering new things but quickly finds himself enjoying whatever is before him. He will make a great family companion.

Carter is still receiving his first year puppy vaccinations and, while you have the opportunity to pre-adopt him now, he won't be released to a new home until June 14. He will still require one final vaccine to complete the series of three but has already received his rabies vaccine, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and kept on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany his adoption.
