*Katie is in a loving foster in the Pennington area

In April 2018, Katie was living as a stray dog when she was almost struck by a passing vehicle. That incident led to the driver taking Katie home   and trying to find Katie’s owner.  The family wanted to  fit Katie into their family but they had other dogs and  cats and  Katie is fearful of  dogs (and reactive to cats).  

Here’s what Katie can promise you:    Katie is a world class  snuggler  and  very  friendly  with others. She is the perfect  sit-under-your-desk-while-you-work-from-home  kind of dog.  She is housebroken.  She takes treats very gently.  Katie enjoys car rides and is a very good passenger.  She likes watching TV with you (it doesn’t matter which shows  ).   Here is what Katie needs from you in return: Katie wants to sit next to you on the sofa or sleep with you in the bed-so hopefully you are okay with that!  Katie is super  stressed around other animals and  she would need you to make a promise to her that she would  always  be an only dog and you wouldn’t ask her to meet other animals or ever go to a dog park.  Katie would  love a  fenced in yard .   Katie would do best with adults over the age of 18 in a quiet household.   

Katie has been  loved by ,  and  living with ,  SOCO’s canine coach for a few months So, know one thing for sure , y ou will forever have a babysitter  in the future  for Katie through SOCO’s canine coach !
