***Fiona will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Feb 22-24 weekend. At this time we're only accepting applications for her adoption from the NJ area.***

Fiona was found as a stray in the parking lot of a local vet's office. When she was found she had a skin condition, which was determined to be demodex and looked to be in need of some TLC.  The vet's staff took her in, treated her for demodex and held onto her until we could get her into our rescue. She has now regrown her hair and is looking great!

Fiona is very friendly towards people and other dogs. While at SOCo Rescue she shared a kennel with a slightly larger but younger dog and could often be found playing with her kennel mate. She never exhibited any aggressive behavior towards other dogs and even shared her food bowl with her kennel mate. Fiona loves the attention that she gets from people and appears that she be a perfect "lap" dog for someone looking for a small companion. 

Fiona has now been fully vetted, kept on her monthly preventatives and recently tested negative for heartworms. We're not sure if she's house trained so her adopter must be prepared to provide basic training.
