**Carney will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Penington, NJ) over the Jan 4-6 weekend. At this time we're only accepting applications for his adoption from homes in the New Jersey/NE area**

While some hunters were enjoying a ride on their four wheelers, they came across Carney and his brother, Gleason, who were simply wandering in the woods. Both dogs appeared to have been stray for a while, being underweight and having cockleburs embedded all into their fur. Both were also infested with ticks and fleas as well. The hunters brought the brothers to us and we tried, in vain, to locate their owner. 

Carney has been the more submissive of the two brothers but isn't a pushover or timid. He is a little shy around new people at first but will soon find himself snuggled up in a person's lap. Carney has a great personality and appears to get along with other dogs but is also a bit hesitant when first meeting them. We're not sure how he'll be around cats but with his laid-back personality, we think he should be fine around them.

Carney has been fully vetted, tested negative for heart worms and started on his monthly preventatives. We're not sure if he's house trained so his adopter must be ready to provide additional training.
