**Katara is scheduled to be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Nov 30-Dec 2 weekend.**

Katara's mom came into the SoCo family as an owner surrender and thought to be just overweight. But it soon became apparent that the mom, Bailey, was actually pregnant and delivered nine pups on Sept 19, 2018.

Katara is the boss of the 9 puppies in her litter. She is an energetic, outgoing young lady who doesn't let the bigger pups push her around at all. She's always ready to wrestle! Her coat is a gorgeous mixture of tan & white, her eyes are a light green/hazel. She is very curious & obviously intelligent.

As of Nov 12 Katara has received 2/3 of her first year puppy vaccines (the final vaccine will be due on Dec 3); been de-wormed; treated against parasites and tapeworms and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She will need to receive her rabies vaccination after reaching the age of 12 weeks. A recent fecal exam came back negative for parasites and/or worms. Katara's adopter agrees to have her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
