**Carol will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Oct 12-14 weekend.**

A young man found Carol as a stray and took her in with the understanding that another rescue would take her in. Unfortunately that rescue never honored their commitment to Carol and she ended up staying with the family, who wasn’t financially able to give her the vet care, namely having her spay, that she needed. Whether she was pregnant when the family found her or became so after they took her in remains a mystery but she delivered her nine pups two days after arriving at our rescue.

Carol is very affectionate, friendly and has a great personality. She’s not timid of new things and instantly become friends with anyone she meets. We think she’ll do fine in a home with other dogs but a meet and greet would be best.

Carol has been fully vetted, including being spayed, and recently tested negative for heartworms. 

Carol will most likely need to be house trained as we’re not sure if she’s ever lived as an inside dog. But with proper training and a little patience, she should accomplish this and any other training she’d undergo pretty quickly.
