**Chaco will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Sept 14-16 weekend.**

Chaco and his sister, Sugar, were found as strays by a young lady in a neighboring town. While this young lady could have simply turned the two over to her local animal control, she opted to foster the pair during her county's required "hold period, which gives the rightful owner time to reclaim them. Once that time had passed, she had the dogs signed over to her and then released them to our rescue so we could find them both new homes. 

Chaco is a very friendly and well socialized fellow. He gets along great with other dogs and even spent time with his foster mom's young child with at that home. He's progressing very well on his house training but will need addition work to fully master the skill and already knows how to walk on a leash properly. 

Chaco has now been fully vetted and started on his monthly preventatives. He is very healthy and happy, making him a great candidate as a family companion.
