**Emerson will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, in Pennington, NJ, over the Dec 15-17 weekend.**

Emerson and his 9 litter mates came to our rescue as owner surrenders. 

Emerson seems to be the "thinker" of the pack, often the first to figure out all of the new things that his litter has faced. He's also very friendly and playful. We never got to see his parents and are only assuming that he is some sort of terrier mix. We were told that his mom was a "medium-sized" dog.

Emerson litter was named after successful people from the Gilded Age (the 1800's) with him being named after Ralph Waldo Emerson :  American essayist, lecturer, and poet who led the transcendentalist movement of the mid-19th century. 

As of Dec 8, Emerson has received 2/3 of his first year puppy vaccines, wormed, treated against parasites and started on his monthly heart worm preventatives. He's still a few weeks away from being old enough to receive his rabies vaccine. His adopter must agree to having him neutered at 6 months of age and providing proof of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany his adoption.
